My first and biggest attempt at educational blogging.  As a special education teacher, I wanted a central area to inform my students, provide easy to access topic resources/interactives, and keep them current with events going on at school.  While it has been quite successful, I’m transitioning to the new site you are visiting….www.ackademic.com  Now you may say it is spelled wrong, however it is intentional!  You see, Ms. Thomas is getting married in November and soon will be Mrs. Ackerman!!! <3  The new name spurred a new web presence & a new adventure at curating a special educational tumblr blog, hoping to streamline my student’s online experience.  Hope you enjoy both sites but make sure to come back & visit (ACK)ademic often!!
