Hello there and welcome to (ACK)ademic! I’m your teacher, Mrs. Ackerman.

(ACK)ademic is your go-to web resource, built to help you REVIEW, REFRESH and REMIND yourself of what is going on in class. It is also a place to find out about happenings at Chestnut Ridge, check on your weekly homework and explore cool stuff from around the net. You can also ask questions and leave comments about activities you’ve completed! Some of these activities will even be for a homework grade or extra credit.

This year we are focusing on 7th & 8th grade Science. Our curriculum includes life science in the 7th grade, and a combination of physical, earth & some chemistry to prep for the 8th grade NYS Intermediate Level Science test.

I read over the flashcards of matter over and over for about 15 mins. then i reviewed it again for 15 more mins. I learned the definitions of solid, liquid, and gas and many more. I'm Joobie Nore from your Period 7 class.
